SnakeSnack

You ever just get tired of having to drive all the way to get rodent food for your scaley children? How about after a long day of work and the pet store is closed. Buying rats for reptiles such as snakes can be complicated and sometimes a struggle. The frustration gets at you so why not have your rats uber to your door? SnakeSnack is a comapny that allows the everyday reptile owner to create an account, search for rodents near by, select rodents and have them delievered all in less than 5 minutes. SnakeSnack was designed after analyzing how many trips I had to make for my snakes weekly, how much time I would have or didn’t have. I wanted to create an APP that had never been made and therefore Snake Snack was born, lets dive deeper to witness it in full.

The idea for the logo was to completely change it around to something funny yet cute for the average reptile owner. I came up with the overall idea to turn the mouse into a physical burger appearing as “food.” The logo seemed less cruel than the original in using a mouse and snake and could be used by itself without the wording behind it.

Mobile APP : UI/UX

Making a convinent APP that was also in use with Google and Uber made it possible to combine and shape the overall look and feel to what I wanted SnakeSnack to be. I wanted to create an overall idea of Ubering rats to your home while away or even while laying in bed sick with ease. The APP was to be used in creating an account or signing in, locating a rat, choosing whether to drive or deliver, payment and then deciding on your personal Uber. The goal was to make a sleek, all black look that differed from your average Petco in bright color. The product line was to feel safe, feel fancy, and give the user more of a reson to use the APP and products.

For the AD's, I wanted to keep the imagery and feel cohesive to the brand. By doing so I used large images of snakes with little to no text to really make the viewer look in "awe" and wonder what the stroy was, or why these images were plastered around town. The idea was to have the AD speak for itself allowing the user to make out the details at the end when showcasing the phone mockup along with "App store" to download.

Motion Graphics

Creating a fun, unique live AD / video was the way to go for Snake Snack! Using the simplistic logo as the focal point. I had made it seem as if the logo was falling into screen for the viewer. By doing so it created character, fun movement, and uniue sound with every sqweak!
